Juan is very quick to respond when you reach out. He came out and provided a free estimate. Later in the same week the workers were here to begin working. The workers were laid back and hard working. We felt comfortable with everyone that came out from Excel Drywall. The estimate was very reasonable compared to competitors. They are a small family owned business that do honest work.

Our ceiling was starting to crack in some places and was beginning to sag. There was also some leftover damage from an incident that happened a while ago that I figured I should finally address. Juan came out to take a look and told us why this was all happening. I was amazed by the cost he gave me to repair everything so we decided to continue. I was further amazed when he said they could start the next day. It took 2 days to make the repairs, and it was well worth it. They were even extremely careful to avoid making a big mess. Our ceiling looks much better now, as if nothing happened. Would highly recommend!

We needed drywall repair in several areas after removing soffit and backsplash, as well as a new ceiling. Juan was able to provide a very reasonable quote within 24hrs of our request, and his team was there the day after that to start the job. Excellent communication with Juan from beginning to end. His workers are thoroughly skilled and take pride in the quality of their work. The re-taping and patching work in our 2-car garage was done beautifully. We are very happy that they secured the ceiling drywall and made a number of other improvements. We reviewed 3 quotes before choosing Excel. Their price was not the lowest but the extra expense was well worth it. After talking to each drywall business it quickly became clear that Excel would be using superior products and their employees would be highly skilled. Specifically they would be using mesh for certain areas and paper for other areas. Juan educated us about products and techniques in a way that the other businesses did not. Therefore we felt very confident choosing Excel. Thank you Juan, Flavio and Otoniel! We will definitely have you back for interior drywall projects.

We needed some drywall repair in our basement. The first company came out and never sent us a quote, second company gave us a quote then forgot to show up. Juan came out right away gave us a quote, and started the project the next business day. His professionalism and attention to detail was far more superior to the other companies we had out, not to mention his price was cheaper than the second company. His guys finished the project and Juan came back out to confirm all was good and we were happy. There is zero reason to call any other company as Juan and his crew are the only call you need to make.

I did some google searches and came across a few different companies. I checked reviews and photos if they were available. Ultimately Excel Drywall Inc. is who I decided to contact. They just stood out to me. I did so through their online quote option on a Sunday night. By Monday afternoon the owner Juan Herrera had reached out to me. We set up a time for him to come check out the potential job I was looking to have done. Well, day of, he shows up on time! Smiling, he hands me his business card. This guy is the real deal. He takes his shoes off even before he walked in my house. Top notch! We proceed to do our walkthrough and then another shocker happens. Juan actually has a personality too! What is going on here? I must be in Bizarro World! The wife and I continue to explain what we are looking to have done. He listened to us, not once cutting off what we had to say. After having a quick chat he said he will get us a quote by later in the evening. Well that he did. After reviewing the quote we had a few questions. He replied almost immediately each time. Once this happened we didn't even bother looking for other companies. We were 100% confident in going with Excel. It paid off too! The Excel crew arrived on the first day and everyday after on time and ready to work! I was not home when they were working but I wasn't worried at all. I wish I was able to get the names of the crew because they deserve to be mentioned by name. Juan stayed in contact with me EVERYDAY. He let me know the status of the job throughout the entire process. The guys came in with full respect of our home. They truly went above and beyond for us. I will never do another drywall job without Excel. They will be the only go to for me and it should be for you. Final day, they do their clean up. I have no issues at all as far as that goes. It's drywall work, it's never clean work. Where they "excel" is doing the final walkthrough to make sure the job is done to our satisfaction. I called Excel Drywall and spoke with Juan about the water damage in my laundry room. The ceiling and two walls were ruined. Juan came out the next day and explained what he would need to do. He sent me a quote that evening. My husband and I went over the quote and hired Excel Drywall. The guys arrived early in the morning and had everything replaced that day.
