We had hired another contractor to remodel our bathroom and he did terrible work. Sloped the floor badly, miscut tile, installed the shower mixing valve backwards, etc. After firing him, we hired DWC. They gave us a fair estimate and got to work. They accomodated our schedule and were very professional and polite throughout the entire process. When we weren't happy with even the smallest issue they bent over backwards to make it right and ensure we got the best imaginable finished product. Their craftsmenship and skill are top-notch. I highly recommend them to anyone doing a project large or small.

We engaged Dustin Wells for a complete remodel. Two complete bathroom remodels, all new flooring throughout (tile, hard wood), woodwork, doors and trim, paint throughout. Sun tunnels in family room to brighten a dreary room. His suppliers made our choices of materials an easy and pleasant experience. His crew was a pleasure to work with and were attentive to every detail. I just can't say enough about how pleased we are with our choise of contractors.

I think of Dustin Wells as the best local business man I've come across in my 50 years in Tallahassee. This guy is incompetent, disrespectful and a snake. He charged me hundreds of dollars to quote an easy job. I was desperate and he said it would be applied to the repair. He had good reviews online so what the heck I thought. When he gave me the quote I couldnt my eyes it was 5x the cost that multiple other contractors later quoted me and 6x more than I ended up getting it fixed for. Of course I said no and asked for my money back. He refused. Said his time is cost money and nothing is free. Was very rude about it. He was only at my house for 10 mins! Shop elsewhere folks!!

Dustin Wells Constrction, wow! Our home was ravaged by the tornadoes last May. We were referred to Dustin Wells by a roofer who came to review the damages to our home. That very same day I was put in touch with Dustin, and right away, I felt very at ease. He is very easy to talk to, personable, courteous and professional. We set a date to meet at our home. Work on our home began in the beginning of February, and everything was completed by the second week of May, right on schedule! During the repairs, we were able to meet with Dustin and chat, go over any concerns or changes to the plan. He always made time. If there was a question or a concern, all I had to do was text esnd text message, and I would have a response that same day, most often within the hour! Thats unheard of for a big business. You feel like you're the only client! Our house is better than it was before! It looks and feels just like a brand new build! The entire team, the subcontractors and the administrative staff are all super people to work with. Efficiency, professional workmanship, courtesy, thoroughness and attention to detail is what you get with Wells. They remain avaible to you even after the project has been completed, customer satisfaction is really what they aim for. Our house was presented to us, complete with a new front door mat, "Home" , and a lovely "Thank You" card as well, gifted by the construction team. We will certainly look to Dustin for any fuure projects! Our house is once again a home. Thank you Dustin Wells Construction Team!

Dustin and his people are by far the most professional and kind contractors Ive ever worked with. My home was damaged in the May 10 tornadoes and my insurance company found another contractor to come out and rebuild the stairs to my home. They were the only way in and out of the house and there was water damage inside, so it had to be done quickly. Unfortunately, the company my insurance found did a total hack job, didnt rebuild the way it was laid out before and thanks to finding Dustin, we later found out it wasnt to code in many areas and was never permitted, engineered or inspected. Once I realized how this other company operated, I switched to Dustin and his team as soon as possible. The stairs were redone and permitted properly and they look amazing, the roof is safer than it was before, the floors and walls are nicer inside and out as well. He worked quickly and everyone I came in contact with, with whatever project, was friendly and did great work. I have some other projects in mind which Ill be calling them back for too and I recommend them to anyone. Also, his family and PJ, their office manager, made me feel like family too. For such a nightmare to go through, they really saved the day.

Had storm damage to my house when a large pine tree fell on it. A friend had the same thing happen to her house a few months earlier and she used and recommended Dustin Wells Construction. The workers were courteous and professional. The work was very good, well-supervised, and done when promised. It is an honest and well-run company. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We hired Dustin Wells Construction to do a complete renovation of our master bathroom. Dustin's personnel and his subcontractors did excellent, professional work. The coordination of the project was also top notch, with no undue delays. Thomas, the project manager, is excellent to work with. In preparation for the work, they put up containment (plastic sheeting) to keep the dust and mess confined to the work area. They also put down floor protection in the traffic areas. The finished product looks amazing, like a bathroom you'd see in a magazine. We are very happy with it. We highly recommend Dustin Wells Construction and would not hesitate to use them again.

My husband and I used Dustin Wells for our home renovations in July of 2022. From start to finish, Dustin and his team were professional and responsive. He helped us stay within our budget and the quality of work was outstanding. We had the floors replaced in our entire house, interior painting of most rooms, updated fixtures in master bath and kitchen, updated cabinets, and new countertops in bath and kitchen. We were thrilled with the results and continue to enjoy our beautifully updated home. Thomas fixed an appliance that I paid 2 companies prior to come out and fix. Brilliant- this appliance had been beeping for years!!! It was second nature for him. Thomas made a difference just by coming out to do the estimate for my bathroom. I plan on using Dustin Wells construction.

They came to give us an estimate on enlarging our kitchen and Sunporch, they never returned and never called back! I don't understand that at all, we live in a nice home, we are nice people to work with, and I hate giving poor reviews, but this is what happened! To be honest, I was shocked. I have had people who give me overly high estimates, but not give us any estimate is a poor way to do business.

Pluses: 1) Mr. Wells allowed email communication. 2) Mr. Wells took the time to answer my detailed questions about drywall repair. 3) This business supposedly contributes to food programs to the least among us. 4) Mr. Wells made an effort to save me money by suggesting I consult with a drywall company for the minor drywall repair we need. Minus: Mr. Wells got kind of testy with me via email when I did not accept an appt time to do the job between 7:30 and 8:00 AM - When I told him 9:00 AM worked better for me, he stated that, "My people can't just wait around for two hours." I didn't think he was flexible at all. It was a knee-jerk reaction. I have never dealt with a company owner or customer rep. that didn't coordinate with me on appt times that fit into my schedule. The customer is supposed to come first! Overall, I think a 3 star rating is fair.

From the outset, Dustin and his associates spent time with us going into meticulous detail listening to what we wanted and providing valuable insight along the way. We ultimately decided to renovate our kitche, get rid of unused space in the dining room by building a butler pantry and renovate a bathroom. They kept us informed of any price changes and any diffuculties along the way that would impact his schedule. They worked with us to keep the dust down which was a huge positive for my wife. In the end, he created a project that is beautiful and on time!

I initially contracted with Dustin to replace my rotten porch columns and railings, replace a French door with a sliding door and identify and repair two areas where we had water intruding into the house. Also, while he and his crew were here I asked if he would replace all of the exterior window trim which uncovered a very long list of unexpected prior workmanship issues that I wont get into in this review. But lets just say that the prior workmanship issues were the cause of the two leaks and caused more damage than we expected. But by the end of it Dustin and his crews completed all of the original contracted work and also had to make roof repairs, replace all of the siding and trim on my house and then have it painted. I also had him demolish and replace my deck with a larger one. Everything turned out great and I couldnt be happier. Im so glad that I chose Dustin as my contractor. I cant imagine going through all that we have been through over the last few months with anyone else. He has been great to work with, friendly, supportive, honest, respectful, detailed and his customer service is impeccable. Dustin was always available to answer all my questions no matter how long it took. I will definitely call Dustin again for any future work I need done and I have and will continue to refer my friends to Dustin. Dustin did a complete master bath remodel and he came in under the quoted price! Not only did he save us money, but he also completed the project within the quoted timeline. Tyler and his team did an excellent job at keeping the debris to a minimum as we have a one year old. Dustin Wells construction exceeded all my expectations. After we had a tree go through our roof during Hurricane Michael, Dustin personally walked us through the insurance process and spent countless hours haggling with the insurance company on our behalf. From the permit pulling process, new trusses and roof, sheet-rock replacement, new floors, and painting, the whole process took less than a month. Every employee was professional and Dustin was personally available at a moments notice and came to check on the progress frequently. I will be referring this company to family and friends and be using them for any future projects 🙂
