I hired him to open up multiple walls in my basement after a water issue and handle the initial remediation. He cut out the affected drywall in the bathroom, kitchen, and adjacent rooms, treated everything properly, and set up drying with fans. He did a great job being thorough without overcomplicating things. Everything that needed to be opened up was exposed cleanly, and he made sure the structure was accessible and ready to dry out before closing anything back up. Communication was easy, he showed up when he said he would, and the pricing was fair for the amount of work across multiple areas. I also had him come back to reinstall drywall, and the patches came out clean and solid. Overall, very straightforward, reliable, and good quality work. Id definitely use him again.

Just for context, my home was built in the 1900s, meaning older construction and the use of materials that are no longer used. For example, interior plaster walls. Our home was experiencing the fatigue of its age. Primarily in the living/ main space. Our plaster walls were bulging and stress cracks were spanning from the ceiling to the floor in multiple areas. After having multiple contractors evaluate, but ultimately running away or completely ghosting our project, John provided salvation and resolution. John gave our project his full attention and proposed his approach to remove the damaged plaster areas and apply fresh plaster material. The amount of material that needed to be removed was alarming, but John reassured us that his approach would work. After we agreed, he got to work promptly wasting no time in tackling our once thought impossible project. The job took him 5 days from start to finish. John provided updates and progress photos for us everyday. In the end, he conquered our project showing attention to detail in every aspect of the job down to the texture of the walls and ceiling that he matched to the original interior. We were ecstatic with the result and relieved that we had finally found a true tradesmen confident in his skills and a master of his craft. John is a real-one who is knowledgable, professional and personable. I would definitely recommend and use his services for future projects.

We hired John to fix a bedroom exterior wall that had water damage, along with bulging of the plaster in other areas of the same wall. He also gutted a closet and drywalled it that had water damage as well. There were also holes that needed to be patched throughout the room and within a second closet. Our home is old the walls are plaster so it was very challenging to find the right person to complete the work. After speaking to several individuals and receiving a wide range of quotes along with various approaches to fix the wall we decided to go with John. It was the best decision and we are tremendously happy with the finished product. He went above and beyond. We are appreciative that he cared and really wanted to do a good job.
