I live in an older home that had some pretty severe plaster cracks in walls and some cracks in the original plaster crown molding. I called several drywall companies to price up the work as I knew it was going to be a project. Quick response time for site visit, quote and to even starting the work. Pricing was very reasonable. Service outstanding, quality and craftmanship was unprecedented. The amount of obstructions with windows, arches and elevated work was the really difficult part and this crew did an amazing job from preparation to final clean up. I'm a freakshow when it comes to quality work and smooth walls and out of all the square footage that was skim coated and re-enforced I maybe found 3 or 4 tiny sized blemishes that just needed knocked down with sandpaper. Truly amazing work. I will most definitely be recommending Compton to anyone requesting a quality drywall company and will be calling them back if I need their services in the future.

This company was absolutely excellent! We had Compton Drywall tear out the old nasty drywall in our basement floor of several rooms and completely redo the entire downstairs including a level 5 finish on the walls. The workmen were punctual, clean, neat and worked very hard and provided excellent work. They were here several days to complete this job. We couldn't be more satisfied with this work and this was no small job at all. It was a large job with complications. Compton Drywall never complained or made things complicated. They knew what we were looking for and they provided solutions, no excuses. We will be utilizing this company for more of our drywall needs this year and we enthusiastically recommend this company to you. This company actually provided value for our money and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. There were no issues or annoying little things left undone. Everything was excellent! Thank you one and all from Compton Drywall for your very professional service in renovating the walls in our basement floor. A job well done!!!

So I would not recommend this company. I called to get an estimate. A time was setup and the guy never showed. Called him to find out what happened he agreed to a later time that same day. He said he would get the estimate to me the next week. I never got the estimate so I called back. The same guy stated he would have it for me that day. Still never got the estimate. I reached out to the owner of the company and instead of communicating with me blocked me on messenger. I reached out to the owner personally because I know him from my past as we used to go to church together. Would not recommend this company. The lack of communication and inability to show up at scheduled times. I went with another company that was recommended to me who comes highly recommended. He showed on time and had estimate same day. Showed up next day to complete the work.

They were quick to respond after my call, were personable and professional in response to my questions and concerns about needed repairs in my drywall. Jerry did the actual work and his work was exemplary. He was able to patch after removal of an unwanted phone jack and I would defy anyone to tell where the repair was made. He fixed a wall in our stairwell that other drywallers said could not be fixed for the past 30 years. I would not hesitate to use Compton Drywall again.
