I'm sure this post will get removed (I read other reviews that weren't very good that have since disappeared from the reviews listing), but I wanted to give our take on Artistic Drywall. We built a new house last summer and had Artistic do the drywall for it. While the job was done in a reasonable amount of time, I can't say we are that pleased with their work. We had to scrape quite a bit of drywall mud off the floors before we could lay the carpeting. There was also mud drops on the windows that never got cleaned up. While the lack of clean up is minor, the other issues weren't so minor to us. We have 2 spots at the top of the walls which cracked badly shortly after we finished painting the entire house. We've tried to fix the one spot twice now and it just keeps coming back worse than before. I guess that must be why when we asked 'what is the guarantee for the work' we were re-directed in our conversation and never did get a clear answer. After the drywall job was completed we moved on to the electrical wiring. My husband spent several hours trying to figure out why we had 2 wires that went seemingly nowhere. Fortunately I was keeping a scrapbook of our progress and was able to see from pictures that they had actually put drywall up over 2 of our outlets. Then when we went to install the microwave above the stove we were surprised to see no outlet in the cabinet. Yes, you guess it. They put drywall up over that outlet too. While we chose Artistic because they were very competitive in their pricing, I guess you get what you pay for.
