Choosing Alpen Painting to paint my house was one of the best decisions I have made. I obtained four estimates, two were cheap and two were not. The cheaper painters subcontracted their crews, while Alpen Painting employs their painters, thereby maintaining tighter control over quality. During the bid-walk around the house it was obvious that Ben, the owner of Alpen Painting, has exceptional knowledge and expertise when it comes to home repair and painting. He was easy to talk to. I didnt feel like I was being sold. And he was very helpful in selecting a new color scheme. The crew spent five days on my house: replacing rotten siding, pressure washing, preparing for painting, and applying two coats of paint. They were professional and friendly, with no loud music. After completion the supervisor surveyed the work with me for anything I saw as a problem. There were none. And they cleaned up all around the house, removing the detritus from the job, even removing some junk not related to their work. I can say without hyperbole that my house is now the best looking house in the neighborhood. I am certain that the new paint will help me get a better price when I sell. Finding an honest company that does quality work is difficult. But now that Ive found Alpen Painting I plan to hire them next year to refurbish my front porch and stain the front door and apply a new weather coating on my back deck. Although we didn't go with Alpen Painting due to scheduling issues, I know they would have done a fantastic job on our exterior home project. Ben was knowledgeable, and great to talk to during the estimate and follow-up discussions. Alpen provides detailed and straight forward bids without any aggressive sales tactics that many other painters use.

I own a home services company and I am sharing this review to warn other contractors not do business for Alpen Painting or the parent company Aurick Construction unless you take proper precautions. The painters sprayed paint on some very difficult to access skylights and windows on a customer's 3-4 story house. He called us to perform the clean-up to appease his customer. We bent over backwards to get out there next day to address the problem for him. Our payment terms clearly state that payment is due at the completion of service. The owner did not respond to emails, calls or text messages initially and when we finally got through, he said that he was waiting on payment from the customer. We gave many chances for him to pay his bill and even tried setting up a payment plan but after 9 months, he still hasn't paid his bill and is now back to avoiding our attempts to communicate. I would not do business for this company without requiring payment in advance or a credit card on-file. We waived our normal policy to collect a card on file while trying to make his tight timeline and I regret that decision. The painting may be good, but I have learned that you always pay the people you hire to clean up your own mess.

I have nothing but great things to say about Ben and his crew of painters at Alpen. I hired them to paint my office with black paint (that I purchased on my own). To start with, Ben was always prompt, courteous, and friendly, communicating via text message and I felt confident that his pricing was fair. But none of that matters if the team doesn't do a good job. TLDR; they did a fantastic job! The Alpen crew showed up on time with 3 people to paint a single room. They immediately set to work, moving all the furniture out of the way (including an incredibly heavy solid wood desk), taping up the floor, ceilings, etc, and ensuring the room was ready to paint. The team worked the whole day, including multiple coats of paint, filling/texturing holes in the wall, etc, and when they were done, they moved every single piece of furniture back exactly where it came from! And the work was really well done. The lines between wall and ceiling were crisp, there was not a drop of paint spilled anywhere, and there are no brush marks on the walls. On top of that, the team was also friendly and professional. I really have nothing but good things to say about them. In short, I want to thank Ben and his crew for a job well done. On top of everything, Ben was going through some unexpected family emergencies, and yet he still remained professional and got the job done! I would trust Alpen Painting with any job in the future and can't recommend them highly enough. Cheers, Jeremy

Hired Alpen for the deck repainting&board replacement project (see before vs. after pictures below). Very nice job. There were additional painting and replacement works discovered after they started the work. New quote was very reasonable and minor fixes were executed based on my feedbacks in a timely manner. This is especially important (we wont have the perfect plan at the beginning but the project is iterated and improved). Good communications. Especially appreciate Bens efforts at late night (10:30pm) for detailed plan discussions.

Highly recommend Ben and Alpen Painting. Ben was very helpful and communicative which really helped since he had to work with myself and our neighbors since were in a duplex. Once we got everything worked out and a schedule set Bens team resided our entire south facing back wall and repainted the entire house. His team was fast and did a great job. They went above and beyond and installed flashing above our windows and replaced several boards around the house that had significant damage. The house is looking good as new!

This was more than just paint! The front of my house has been the target of "vandalism" for over twenty years as Northern Flickers destroyed the siding to make nests. No matter what I did to discourage them, it got worse every year. But no longer! The Alpen crew removed old siding and replaced it before painting and it looks as good as new. The house was dark brown and looked like a dead tree to the birds so the only solution was to change the color. I has been several months since the transformation to a beautiful gray color and they birds are no longer interested. My painting crew helped choose the color combination and I couldn't be happier with the choice! Painting a 43 year old house was a challenge as it really soaked up the paint but the painters didn't stop until it looked great. Thanks Alpen for this amazing transformation.

We had our former house painted by Alpen in 2019. They were quick quiet and clean! They helped us find the perfect color and were highly patient and informed while we (my wife) dilly-dallied on the details. All in all, I have no complaints! We also had a roof leak around the same time as we got our house painted (problem with an old dish installed by previous owner) and Alpen repaired that too which really blew me away. Wonderful crew, great company, excellent service!
