I had been trying to find a local handyman to hang a mantel on my stone fireplace, a job that is important to get right or it could damage the fireplace. It also requires special tools. My usual go to handypeople werent able to do it, but Ace Hardware did it quickly and at a good price. It was so easy to set up too. Ill definitely use them again.

installed a replacement door knob, which was a bit fussier than it sounds do to the fact that the combo lock required a different hole than the simple deadbolt it replaced. Handled the job with skill and aplomb.

Shawn gave me a quote and when work was done he was right on target. He rebuilt my wood gate, cemented the post in and made it flush so my little dogs cannot get out. On time and within the 2 hour time frame. Now I am using Ace again to put some handrails up. Theyre my new go-to handyman!!

Max was great! Friendly, professional. We had a good conversation. He didn't try to up the bill & get more money! He told me the 3 shut-off valves were fine & to return the 2 valves, I picked up. Where the plumber was telling me that they needed to be replaced. Just to up the price. Since Ace won't replace main water valves, I have to have a plumber do it. Which sucks! All & said, I recommend Ace to anyone!

Max and Shawn worked efficiently and expertly to complete the lower level rebuild of our flood damage. They arrived promptly as scheduled, attended to all tasks and completed the repairs in a timely fashion. They also assembled furniture, placed things correctly, moved existing furniture to the proper rooms. They consulted with me throughout the process to ensure that the repairs and assemblies were completed correctly. In the days they were at our home they were polite, cheerful and professional. They went above and beyond to help with a few unscheduled tasks. Worth every penny. I will call upon them again for future projects. Thank you, Ace Handymam Services!

Shawn (the repairman/carpenter) did a fine job. He was punctual and skilled at his job. My complaint is with the labor fee and materials mark-up Ace charges. In one word: outrageous. 100+% markup is greediness. Considering most of the materials come from the hardware store itself. To charge what they did for staining is shameful in my opinion. Yes, they got the job done. And they did a good job. But unfortunately, I cannot afford them for any future projects. I'll look elsewhere next time.

After I was able to find a replacement door for my shed, I was able to schedule the repair with Jody and have Max come out on a day and time of my choosing. We had Max as our installer. He was friendly knowledge. And comes to us with a wealth of experience. Max install the countertop today countertops as well as handyman are very expensive and it pays to get a couple of quotes. Do yourself a favor and make sure that Ace handyman is one of them.

I just moved into my place and knew several items needed to be fixed. The toilet was not working and the bathroom door would not stay closed. Chris was my repairman. He fixed both items and the shower door (which was just a request). All were done quicker than quoted so my final bill was much lower . They also have a 12 month warranty. Excellent service !!

Satisfied with the final job ,but it took two visits to get the job done. First visit did not include the right tools to get the job done. Which was disappointing because I asked to have some one look at the project before they did any actual work. Apparently they felt there was no need. I think with the right amount of experience the project should have cost less . So beware I feel I was charged about a 100 dollars more then I should have.

Aug/2025 Update: Dave did an awesome job of power-washing (and sponge washing) our 2-story, aluminum-sided old house that we love; however, maintenance is always an adventure! He went beyond just power-washing and also laddered-up and sponge wiped off residue/discoloration from pollen and other airborne stuff from the past 10 years or so and renewed the color of this old house. Thanks again Dave! 2023: Exceptional and timely service from the start (cost estimate) to finish, and all at a decent price (better than 3 other bidders). Many thanks to Doug, Tanner, PJ and Dave for their excellent planning and workmanship that has transformed our old, eyesore of a front porch into fresh, inviting, and relaxing porch to hang out on. The Ace Handyman Service crew is prompt, friendly, organized and take care of and clean up the work site/project area as if it's their own. We've received many compliments from neighbors (including one who works in construction) and have passed on several referrals for Ace. They also recently replaced our old 2-story garage ladder type stairs and constructed a nice full size walk-up stairs that has made a huge difference in usability and storage. Ace has become our "go to" service to handle the to-do list of projects that are either beyond our ability and/or we just don't have time to do ourselves.
